I̽nil Nat Vrët (/ˈi̽nil/ /nat/ [economic] [message]) is a subtropical Town located in Pogodosi Parish, Vrǟmnde̜wi̽fto Diocese, within the Covenent of Irus.

The name I̽nil Nat Vrët is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as I̽nil Nat Vrët was founded by Mira Iardre Shruzraneil, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

I̽nil Nat Vrët has a yearly average temperature of 17°C (62°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 10°C (50°F). I̽nil Nat Vrët receives an average of 288 cm/y (113 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. I̽nil Nat Vrët covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 6370 m (20898 ft) above sea level.

Overview

I̽nil Nat Vrët was founded durring the late 16th century in summer of the year 1480, by Mira Iardre Shruzraneil. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Mira Iardre Shruzraneil.

I̽nil Nat Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and I̽nil Nat Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

I̽nil Nat Vrët is is constructed arround a semi-circular spacious packed earth mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's brittle defences are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

A look around I̽nil Nat Vrët has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in I̽nil Nat Vrët long.

Civic Infrastructure

I̽nil Nat Vrët has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within I̽nil Nat Vrët. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for I̽nil Nat Vrët's parks.

I̽nil Nat Vrët has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within I̽nil Nat Vrët.

I̽nil Nat Vrët has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain I̽nil Nat Vrët's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

I̽nil Nat Vrët has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for I̽nil Nat Vrët's natural decorations nor waterways.

I̽nil Nat Vrët has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

I̽nil Nat Vrët has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

The locals have cut a deal with some unspeakable entity, trading some form of tribute (benign of horrific) in exchange for the being’s forbearance or assistance. Outsiders may be ignorant of the bargain, or they may know that the community is in thrall but be too fearful of its master to take action against them. The creature likely serves as a protector as well as a tyrant, so the locals may be content with the deal even if it doesn’t offer any further inducement or aid.

I̽nil Nat Vrët's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..

In I̽nil Nat Vrët snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
